"Smart solutions for performance alignment problems"

Your car is made to a compromise. A compromise of quality, price and performance. The fact is that manufacturers tolerances are very broad, too broad for optimum performance and tyre wear. All your tricky springs and shocks etc. could be wasted if your wheel alignment is not at its best.

Whitelines camber kits, caster adjusters, adjustable radius rods and trailing arm conversions may not be as aesthetically pleasing as some bolt on aftermarket products, but they work and work well. So what do they do and why are they important?

Camber - Proper camber adjustment is essential for tyre wear and performance. For example, use Whitelines camber bolt kits to overcome OE shortcomings. While strut braces ensure that the camber stays the way you set it while driving hard. See the other camber solution inside the applications list like adjustable strut tops.

Toe - Another tyre wear issue and an under valued performance tunning resource. Proper toe adjustment can transform turn-in from "limp" to "alive".

Caster - There's no such thing as too much positive caster for performance driving. It also means crisper more precise steering with no adverse effects on tyre wear. A true performance bargain. Adjustable radius rods, caster adjusting bushes all strive to deliver major handling improvements. Whiteline's famous Subaru anti-lift kit, also adds positive caster for improved turn-in and steering precision.

ADJUSTABLE REAR CONTROL ARMS

Whiteline are introducing a new range of adjustable rear control arms for Subaru Impreza, WRX and Sti. The broadest range on the market with models to suit sedan and wagon reflecting the different rear tracks. Avoids excessive rear swaybar link pre-load and failure found with other brands while using stronger than OE link mounts. This is another cause of excessive flex and premature failure with some other brands. Whiteline kits are specifically engineered for serious use and larger swaybars.

"There's no such thing as too much chassis stiffness!"

Chassis Bracing - Weight aside, the more the better. Chassis bracing maintains alignment angles and spring rates by greatly reducing body or chassis flex. In fact, it helps every component in the suspension system do its job properly. Race cars have elaborate roll cages not just to protect the occupant, a good proportion of its job is to stiffen the chassis. Critical for serious performance and essential for any car with up rated springs, shocks or swaybars. You'll even feel the difference in a standard car. Depending on the location, expect improved turn-in, sharper steering response along with greater feedback. There are many different types, the most common being strut tower braces. The range also includes lower control arm braces, extra heavy-duty swaybar mounts and rear sub frame lock kits. Apart from all the technical guff, they look really good!
