Subaru Impreza Plug and Play ECU
The GEMS Subaru Impreza boards are being extensively used in rallying across the world and have proven themselves time and again. The board for the Subaru Impreza is fully pin-to-pin compatible with the standard loom, and bolt directly into the standard case.
The systems are fully programmable, retaining all calibration data in a secure re-programmable media known as an EEPROM, which allows those who wish to develop their own calibration the freedom to do so without ever having to open the ECU. The systems can also be configured to be EPROM-based for those customers who are not computer literate, but want to be kept up to data with the latest releases of calibration.
The systems are very versatile allowing all the standard sensors to be used. The users are also able to select the type of load measurement; airflow meter or manifold absolute pressure (MAP). Anti-lag control (ALS) and launch control of the turbo-charger is provided. Calibration and online monitoring is performed using GEMS GW95 software.
The ECU is fitted with specialist racing software based around the techniques used in the GEMS racing engine management systems. These 'hardware implants' are user friendly systems which require a minimum of electrical knowledge to operate. The units also interface with our data loggers and displays.
