GCC (Graphic Control Computer)
The HKS GCC is an additional electronic tuning component designed to add flexibility to the HKS VPC (Vein Pressure Converter), PFC F-Con ECU and F-Con 5 ECU. The GCC simply plugs into either of these and allows the user to adjust the fuel pulse duration at specific rpm intervals.
At each of the five intervals, the GCC can richen the programmed fuel curve up to 16% or lean it out up to 12%. Four different RPM ranges allow for maximum flexibility when tuning the vehicle. The GCC will interpolate, or average between points of adjustment to ensure a smooth fuel delivery.
The CCC also incorporates LED's to indicate whether the fuel mixture is in fact being altered by the GCC. When used with an F-Con, the GCC can also be used to adjust the fuel mixture under boost conditions.
Please note that the GCC is an option and is not always necessary. Most vehicles will run fine with the on-board adjustments that come with VPC's, PFC F-Cons and F-Con 5's. However, this can only be checked on a rolling road.
